Happy new year, beautiful friends and internet family. It’s been an incredible journey as always. ♥️ This past year has been a junior rollercoaster of emotions and learning experiences. 🥰 There’s been light, there’s been dark… and at the end of the day we sleep soundly to rise again. Every day. ☀️ Our complex humanity is something to celebrate and it’s even more wonderful when we have others to connect with and share. I always wonder what other creators do to keep their sanity. To be completely honest sometimes in the DMs I see people spill their tea, set boundaries or talk as if they have their high heels on someone’s back. Even when the story is gritty/ super wild/ dramatic/ interesting. Sometimes, it’s a my ex husband the felon is out of prison and I need to raise money to get away from him. Sometimes, it’s a I need to replace my phone cuz I fought my boyfriend and he threw it out the car. Sometimes, it’s just a bitching post about the losers on the internet. I love it. It makes me feel not so alone and I feel human again. I’m sure you guys have read your fair share of breakdowns or super real posts. I just want to stop having a bad attitude. By that I meant I need to figure out how to keep certain messages and comments out from my view so I don’t get a bad attitude . I’ll be up all night doing laundry and entering poetry contests. Some of them have cash prizes and publishing. I’m so excited. I’ve never gathered my writing and organized them, tbh. Sometimes, I screen shot them but I forget to move them into a folder of poems. I’d like to get more organized and sorted out for my 2023 reset. I’ve kinda been going 100 miles per hour in my mind while pausing to connect with my special minions. I love you all and appreciate you for taking such good care of me. It’s been a wonderful year of learning experiences and blessings. These poetry contests have me so excited. One of the highlights of my year. I wish I looked into them earlier. Maybe I can make a digital photo book of some of my poems, online adventures and meme collection. I wonder what it takes to get a book on Amazon. What was I talking about? Oh yea, I have a handful of poems. Maybe enough for some small books. Working on those today. I likely won’t be able to in time to submit a manuscript/collection but i’ll enter screenshots/photos of them. I hope they like them or acknowledge my cute creativity and big heart. 🫣🌹♥️ I know we contribute a lot of physical trash to Mother Earth so sometimes I like to write out on receipts, napkins or just whatever I can get my hands on when magic words pop in my head. Sometimes, I do them in notes but I realized it’s easy to lose my variations so I wrote my latest ones out today on some Chipotle napkinss. I had my phone on airplane mode so I could focus on the writing and not anyone trying to sit in my head rent free. Really need clear mind, peace, calm, joy, love and solitude to get to where I need to be. (If I’m mad at you just give me 3 months to 3 years to get over it.) I’m feeling gentle, strong and calm rn. My friend’s book came in, too. So I’m looking forward to reading that. So much to do. Gonna try to write things out in a to do list. I “talk” a lot.
