book review tuesday ! vonnegut loves satire. in this one he mostly is satirizing religion and science and the ways in which they coexist. it’s so funny as always but also makes you think of course. i laughed out loud so many times and also had lots of productive conversations with the boy about it. i wish i could remember all the new words he made but i can’t. 9/10

📚 tuesday = book review day 📚
this book is all the hype right now on tiktok (i don’t have a tiktok but that’s what the sign at the bookstore told me lol) i’m glad i read this because it reminded me of the person i don’t want to be. i definitely have gone through intense depressive episodes like this and been extremely self destructive. reading this helped me realize how far i’ve come and how cringe and melodramatic i was haha. i don’t mean to sound hateful towards the main character or author i genuinely really enjoyed reading this and i’m glad it didn’t send me into a “flea bag era” as it seems to be doing for others. however the ending brought the book from an 8 or 9 down to a 6 or 7. it was so predictable and way too easy and honestly maybe even a little trashy or something. i don’t even have the right word for it but that’s why i’m a reader not a writer lol. 7/10
