Fun fact: I’ll drink just about anything if it’s orange dreamsicle flavored 🥵 The show last night was amazing. Death Cab for Cutie has been one of my bucket list shows since I was a wee las. Memorable moments: They played a bunch of their popular songs and some newer stuff- highlighting their most recent album *Asphalt Meadows*, which was really cool. It has a very 2005 Death Cab sound that’s really exciting for fans of their original older music. I think a few of my favorite parts during the show were when he played *Roman Candles* at the beginning, and then closer to the end during the encore they played *Pepper* -both also from *Asphalt Meadows*. 12/10 live, I loved both of those. He also did a very very moving *Foxglove Through the Clearout* pre-encore. Another great part was in the middle of the show where he played a solo acoustic *I Will Follow You Into the Dark*, stopped right before the end, had the audience sing a whole chorus, and then he sang an extra chorus of the song. And then obvi he played *Transatlanticism* at the end on his very obvious wall piano that was in the back of the stage while a bunch of middle aged white women cried on their husbands shoulders 😂 Honestly a really lovely show- would absolutely see them again 🖤🖤 Let me know if you want more show highlights like this in the future <3
