The window ajar, letting in the sounds of the day. The flutter of birds, the hum of lawnmowers, the drifting of the wind. As usual I have two laptops in front of me, sitting on top of a puzzle I haven’t finished, while I balance the management of a freelance gig and a few compliance trainings for my company. I brought my suitcase down from the attic and discovered some beautifully fragrant candles I had forgotten about. I’ll pack at 2 and hopefully leave by 4. I’m going away until Saturday, making good on my commitment to adventuring and getting out of the house more often.
